EXAMS AND ALTERNATE DATES -
What if I cannot attend the scheduled exam?
You will need to speak with their
instructor directly to make alternate arrangements. There is no fee
charged for alternate exam dates.
GRADE REPORTS – When and how do
I receive my final mark?
Grade reports are mailed to the
your’ address on file up to three weeks after the course has ended.
Please make sure we have you current address.
APPEALS - Can I appeal a
subject mark, if I am dissatisfied?
Yes – you should first discuss
this with your instructor. If you still want to appeal you can
write a letter to the Director of Continuing Studies providing a
detailed outline for the reason of the request for appeal.
COURSE CANCELLATION
– How are we notified of course
cancellations?
Continuing Studies reserves the right
to cancel courses due to insufficient registration. Registrants will
be contacted in advance and full refunds will be issued.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER
– How are we notified of class changes due to weather?
Please contact Continuing Studies
directly to confirm classes are running as scheduled if weather
conditions warrant.
RECEIPTS, INCOME TAX AND OTHER
- How do I get the necessary receipts for
reimbursement of CIM courses?
You will receive an official fee
receipt. It is both an income tax receipt and your proof of
registration. The original receipt must be returned in order to
obtain a refund. A $5.00 fee will be charged for a replacement
receipt.
A duplicate copy of your course
record can be generated upon request. Because of the high demand for
this service a small fee will be charged. Fees are generally $5.00
for each report and $10.00 for each request to be completed within
24 hours (pick up only for 24 hour service). Reports for fees
charged include: attendance letters, pass/fail reports, registration
receipts, certificates, etc. To request a duplicate report contact
